The weather is always a good topic of conversation and climate change seems to be a reality. The weather does effect our wildlife and warmer, drier summers and milder wetter winters are forecast. We can expect some plants and animals to move northwards and others to come to Britain for the first time - maybe to breed. We all got very excited by the hoopoe on Grange Paddocks - what else might we see soon? As well as birds from mainland Europe and North Africa, we may well see more butterflies! The weather also effects us and what we might see. An accurate local forecast can be useful to plan our wildlife watching. Now you can get a 10 day, hour by hour local weather forecast here In the Gallery and Forum, you can post photographs and stories about local weather conditions. Go to the Weather Gallery |
