Hunsdon Sawbridgeworth Therfield Heath Lea Valley | | Hertfordshire is a mixed county ranging from the
Chiltern hills and valleys in the west to the Lea Valley in the
east. Rare orchids can be found in the beech woods on the
chalk hills of the Chilterns and the Lea Valley is a fantastic wetland
corridor bringing birds on to the doorstep of London. We can only
highlight a few special places here, but for more information go to the Hertfordshire
Natural History Society and the Herts
& Middlesex Wildlife Trust
