Further Afield
Home Up Essex Hertfordshire Further Afield

Sometimes it is good to travel further afield and see wildlife and wild scenery that we just don't get in  Herts and Essex.   Britain has such a fantastic  diversity of scenery and wildlife habitats in a comparatively small island.  You don't have to travel very far to be in the sub-tropical Isles of Scilly or the sub-Arctic mountains of the Cairngorms.  Breckland, lakeland, peakland, woodland - the glorious Norfolk Broads, the Welsh Mountains, the Cornish cliffs, the bleak Pennine moors...and so much more.   Post your best photographs of Britain's wildlife and wild scenery in our Gallery.
